분주한 일상에 끌려다니기를 멈추고 고요한 마음으로 나와 세상을 바라보는 곳, 지관서가(止觀書架)입니다.

송정 박상진호수공원 지관서가는 울산 대표 독립운동가 고헌 박상진 의사 이름을 딴 박상진호수공원 입구에서부터 숲이 내어준 길을 한참 걸어가서야 만나게 되는데, 찾아가는 길이 꼭 헨리 데이비드 소로의 월든 호수를 떠오르게 합니다. 건물의 본 형태인 선함의 모습을 유지하여, 지친 현대인에게 일상에서 벗어나 삶의 휴식과 위안, 지혜를 얻고 ‘영감의 선함’에 충만해지는 장소가 되길 바라며 2023년 여름 문을 열었습니다.

박상진호수공원 지관서가의 인생테마는 ‘영감’입니다.

영감을 뜻하는 단어 ‘inspiration’의 어원을 살펴보면, 안으로(in-), 숨 쉬다(spirare)라는 두 어근이 만나 ‘호흡하다’, ‘불어넣다’라는 두 가지 의미를 지니게 된 라틴어 ‘inspirare’를 발견할 수 있습니다. 그런 의미에서 영감(靈感, Inspiration)은 우리를 생생히 살아 숨 쉬게 하는 일상의 호흡이자 신령스러운 존재가 불어넣어 주는 성스러운 예감, 번뜩이는 창조적 발상을 뜻합니다. 푸른 하늘, 초록의 숲, 평화로운 호수와 맞닿아있는 송정 박상진호수공원의 '영감의 선함' 에 올라 새로운 감각을 일깨우고, 닫힌 마음에 숨통을 틔우고, 가슴속 문제에 돌파구를 찾고, 삶을 바라보는 자신만의 새로운 시선을 발견하시기를 진심으로 바랍니다.
